Enjoyable movie. I have heard it compared to Lord of the Rings, but in many ways that comparison is unfair. The director refrains from too many sweeping vista shots, and the fantastical nature of the world is more pronounced - props and setting look more natural/weathered, something that many movies overlook.

Great adaptation of the HP Lovecraft story. Probably the best Lovecraft adaption I've seen, helped by the silent nature of the film which builds tension.
